What to use the Field Pro app for?

If you are not a certified installer, there are two primary uses for the Field Pro app:

1. During the installation of a generator with a PowerZone 200 controller, Field Pro is used to complete the Guided Commissioning Flow. Learn more here: How do I commission a generator in the Field Pro application?

2. Field Pro can update the controller, ECU (Engine Control Unit), and radio firmware over Bluetooth. This is necessary only when the generator does not have internet access, as the Mobile Link app cannot perform firmware updates via Bluetooth.

When to Use Mobile Link instead. 

In all other scenarios, most end users should use the Mobile Link app to monitor their generators. Mobile Link can be used to switch between cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity, and allows access to generator status logs and other operational information.
